 Standing on Two Legs: Anatomy, Alignment & Asana
(Yoga and the Pelvis: Unraveling Muscles to Create Freedom)
Ginny Nadler returns to the East from Cleveland every other month to work therapeutically with a small group of students. While her background is yoga, her teaching style breaks down the postures according to how muscle moves over bone and her teaching is therapeutic. Bodies reflect the years of misalignment, and the pain in our spine, neck, hips, knees, feet and shoulders are the result. This introductory class will provide a window into the imbalance we create as "two leggeds" and create an opportunity to find those places deep within the pelvis to make corrections. If you are new to yoga or have had years of experience as a student and/or teacher this class will be enlightening. If you have been wondering why certain poses never seem to change and why you remain stuck? This class will be a journey into the discovery of your anatomy and how you can learn to unravel and unwind muscles to create freedom. All wanting to "take the sides off the box" are welcome. |

An unwinding and unraveling journey of muscle over bone that awakens the energy in the pelvic floor and allows the authentic nature of nature’s body to emerge.
The journey to freedom of movement lies in the letting go of muscles that have been distorted and misaligned on bones. As we correct the imbalance in the pelvic floor and release old patterns of holding on to our body’s structure, we release old beliefs that keep us bound and imprisoned. We realign to learn to stand in our bones and access the body’s innate wisdom. |

About Fossil Rim
The steward and co-creator of the Fossil Rim land has developed High Hope as a retreat to bring people together in a magical place. The accommodations boast a sweat lodge, stone circle, ceremonial yurt and a wonderful studio where we will unravel together and come back to our wholeness. We will have 3 wonderful meals together each day (vegetarian and non vegetarian diets will be accommodated) and a Safari on Fossil Rim land on Sunday afternoon.
