“Ginny Nadler, I must say, has the qualities of a true educator ... inspiring, nudging and leading participants where they want to go. Having been the Co-director of the Ojai Foundation for many years, and involved with the healing arts since the 70’s, I have worked with many types of teachers, trainers, and healers. Never before in the practice of yoga have I found someone who truly embodies and expresses such an integration of body, mind, and spirit. Too often in “yoga practice”, I have ended up hurting my body, whereas when working with Ginny I found a place of surrender, an opportunity for strengthening, growing, and healing. I always felt met and stretched...not forced or pressured. Her touch is firm yet gentle as she helps each student find balance through unraveling old patterns and entering a posture. The pain in my shoulder I had suffered with for 6 months slowly changed and released over a 3-day retreat. Ginny elicited trust, attention and the confidence I needed in my body’s ability to move. For me it was right time, right place, right teacher and I do believe anyone from novice to pro would benefit from her unique style of teaching. People speak a lot of holistic health these days but I rarely find someone skilled enough to look at or ‘treat’ the whole being. The lens through which Ginny looks feels large and, as I felt truly seen, receiving her teachings was a joy. In her retreat I experienced a field where bodywork, movement, yoga, community and meditation are all one.”

“Ginny has the unique ability to use yoga to release long-held and even most petrified portions of consciousness, trapped in the muscles of the body. We feel these as pain or lack of movement, but they are all; really parts of our own potential that we have resigned ourselves to. Ginny opens our bodies and our futures to us, and this is why people keep coming to her.”

"Ginny's teaching style is indescribable-the best I can do is say it is a fascinating combination of yoga and bodywork. Each student receives intensive individual attention and suggestions for body alignment. I have gotten further, faster in strength, flexibility, body awareness and openness in my body than I ever thought possible. We are fortunate to have a teacher with her level of skill, commitment to her students, and openness of being among us!"

"Just completed the two day intensive with Ginny at the Yoga Room. It was a truly wonderful experience. Just as any intensive gives you a prolonged opportunity to work on your yoga, this was a deepening and learning experience. Having Ginny lead the intensive was also particularly wonderful. All of the very special ways that she has helped us learn about our bodies were there for two whole days and she already knows each of us so well from our years of studying with her. In addition, having a chance to connect with friends in our yoga community again was important. I knew I was missing everyone, but this confirmed it all the more. Those of you who were not there were missed. The mutual energy, inspiration, and laughter we bring to each other has been a part of what keeps me going in my practice.

Finally, Ginny, thank you so much. It was a wonderful dose of your teaching and my gratitude for your talent and skill was once again ignited."

"I began yoga just before my third pregnancy, and I can’t even begin to tell you how much it has changed my life. Yoga made my pregnancy, delivery and recovery infinitely easier. I have more energy and am able to keep up with all the kids."

"As a triathlete, I’ve found yoga to be of tremendous benefit. It has brought much-needed balance into my workout routine, increased my ability to focus on key areas of my body and helped me to develop more fluid, centered movement. Given my high-stress job as an administrator and my intense workout schedule, yoga has been the perfect addition to help me keep it all together!"

"Back spasms that plagued me through 25 years of scoliosis have melted away. Chiropractors haven't seen me since my first yoga lesson two years ago. My body feels free for the first time since childhood. Ginny's yoga is the closest thing to a miracle that money can buy."

"Yoga helps me create a balance in my life between accepting myself as I am and exploring new challenges as they appear."

"For four years, Ginny’s Yoga for Teenage Girls helped me feel closer to my body during a time when I was estranged by it. Instead of distance, yoga made me more sensitive to my body’s subtle abilities. I saw physical limits and insecurities evaporate, allowing me to stretch physically, emotionally and even spiritually. Yet a lot of this growth emerged out of laughter — it was really fun!"
