The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.

My dear students and friends,

Core Body Wisdom is birthed

Those who have traveled the yoga journey with me over these many years have witnessed the transformation of my teaching as we have all taken the journey deeper inward. I have honored the source to be that of yoga and am so blessed and honored to have had the miraculous teachings that have led me deeper and deeper within. As a result of my personal transformation and as a witness for hundreds of students, I have recently renamed the teachings, Core Body Wisdom. When I unravel the muscles deep in the pelvic floor that keep me stuck, keep me standing on my muscles and not in my bones, an imbalance that is referred all the way up the spine, I realize that to "do" yoga postures without balance and opening in the pelvic floor is working "against" the ability to create the postures from deep within the core. I do not want to continue to fight my anatomy.
Ginny Nadler
Ginny Nadler discovered her Core Body Wisdom through sheer surrender; having the willingness (with on and off trepidation), along with the knowingness of what it means to “not do life alone”. Her early meanderings come from elementary school student teaching days in East Harlem, to years of training in the Iyengar Yoga community, to years of UN training with exquisite mentors, with the Qechua Medicine People in the Andes, with guides to hold her quest for vision; all to find the source of movement, the beginning, in all realms. A grandmother, a grand mother, a vision seeker, woman growing into the wisdom of years, Ginny gifts her fellow ‘movers’ with a clear vision of themselves. Her art brings forth the student’s anatomy and she has the language to translate it, allowing the receivers to be the most informed participants in their own unraveling journey. Freeing muscles from bones, leaving behind outdated stories in the pelvic floor and spine to create movement freely and authentically, standing on the mother with assurance, imbued with lovingness, forgiveness and compassion is the journey to wholeness Ginny is blessed to gift.

I recently heard the results of a study announcing over 400,000 people in the past year of 2005 have had hip replacements. The age range astounded me as the majority of these folks are among the baby boom generation; my generation. We are ones that took the concept of exercise to the limits. We ran and ran and ran and plowed over and through pain in tennis, biking and most other sports. I have had many clients come to me who have said they have had knee operations, rotator cuff operations, hip problems and even replacements and have said, "I just have to keep running and playing. Please show me how." Then there is the new generation that "performs" power yoga at such a pace that stretches the muscles over the bones in their misalignment making the bones more and more fragile. All this to create a body that is flexible and maintains its life force! Sounds like a conundrum to me.

I am convinced after witnessing so many people in pain and out of alignment that we need to slow way down and have the willingness to restructure our own bodies from deep within the body's core, the pelvic floor. Anatomy excites me and discovering where exactly the muscles are sticking on the bones and translating this language to my clients has been a miraculous journey.

Over the last two years I have been experiencing Network Spinal Analysis in my own body, a modality developed by Dr. Donald Epstein, who was a traditional chiropractor, who realized transformation needs to take place more on the energetic realm of the spine. There has been a dramatic shift in the awakenings in my spine and this, in combination with Core Body Wisdom, has opened me up to an energetic field that has my mental, emotional, etheric and spiritual life force soaring. As a result of the dynamic combination of these two modalities Dr. Deborah Musso form New York City, who is one of Dr. Epstein's top therapists, and I, have begun our partnership to co-create a new modality that has us both very excited. If you have experienced Network you know the results you experience in the spine. Now put this energetic journey together with the unraveling of muscles to free the bones and the expansion in the pelvic floor resulting in pelvic balance and the stretch is astounding. My backbends and those of my students are transforming with ease. Clients who have had injuries are discovering WHY they occurred in the first place. It is through the unraveling of the muscles that the stories held within the body are melting away with the musculature. Learning to stand in the bones is exciting.

Dr. Musso and I are piloting our work over the course of the next several months and are excited to be teaching a three workshop/retreat at my most beloved venue in Texas, High Hope Ranch where the steward of this sacred land, Krystyna Jurzykowski, further developed Fossil Rim Nature Center, a wildlife center with over 1700 African animals saving many from extinction. Our retreat will take place October 13, 14 and 15, 2006.

You can view my teaching schedule on this site. I continue to return to New Haven, New York City, Washington, D.C. and have been invited to journey to New Mexico, California, and Australia. Of course, the retreats to miraculous places in the world will continue as I do still love to travel.

I welcome your participation and thank all of you who have guided my "sight" to bring me to where I now am in my teaching and life journey. I am deeply grateful.

Blessings and Namaste,

Ginny
